They need to greenlight a U.S release for sure this time, it couldn't do them much harm. I'd almost given up on the series' continuation entirely. Lastly, FF5 looks amazing and is truly a wish come true. As far as the FF2 Remake goes, I would love to play it, although the British voices really take away from the game in my opinion.
